Taking a breather from pre-race prep on the largest boat in the fleet, Stan breaks down all three race segments and provides a pre-race weather report.

In the first episode of 2025's Transpac Onboard, we meet legendary navigator Stan Honey in the cockpit of Bryon Ehrhart's Lucky, where he is preparing to race across the Pacific in the 2025 edition of the Transpac.

According to Stan, there are 3 ways to win (or lose) this race: getting into the synoptic breeze off the start, choosing the right slot across the Pacific, and gybing to hit the finish optimally.

Stan breaks down all three race segments and provides a pre-race weather report.

Tune in, get your bearings and follow @transpacrace on social media. We're coming live 'til everyone arrives in Hawaii!
