Barton Marine Partners with Amarcord Marine Ltd to Distribute Product Range in Hungary

Barton Marine continues to expand its distribution network through the appointment of Amarcord Marine Ltd in Hungary. Amarcord Marine is the sister company of Galco Yachting Ropes, a well-established family-owned manufacturer with six generations expertise in creating quality ropes for general use and two generations specifically for sailors. The Barton range of marine equipment complements the wider Amarcord Marine offering to provide a one stop shop for the Hungarian boating marketplace and territories.
Sailing in Hungary is a vibrant and growing sport, centred primarily around Lake Balaton, the largest lake in Central Europe measuring nearly 600 square kilometres and stretching nearly 80 kilometres along Hungary's southern foothills. The lake hosts numerous regattas, including the Kékszalag (Blue Ribbon Regatta), which is Europe's oldest round-the-lake sailing race.
