Like a fine wine (or a well-tuned yacht), GORI Propeller just keeps getting better with age. Celebrating 50 years in 2025, GORI has been at the heart of smooth sailing and smart engineering since 1975.

From the start, GORI set out to do things differently introducing folding propellers that didn't just reduce drag but improved performance under power. The original 2-blade folding propeller changed the game in the 1980s, and the later addition of the Overdrive function on the 3-blade gave sailors even more reason to smile when motoring.

Half a century on, GORI propellers are found on all yachts from weekend cruisers to one design race yachts and yachts that race around the world, all benefiting from that same dedication to innovation and reliability. Backed by the BSI Marine Equipment Group and supported by a global service network, GORI continues to deliver performance that speaks for itself. And it has the sea miles to prove it.

Fifty years in, GORI Propeller is still spinning strong with the release of the 3-blade hybrid propeller optimised for regeneration. They are smarter, sleeker, and more dependable than ever. Here's to the next 50 years of pushing boundaries and keeping sailors moving, one elegant rotation at a time.

"GORI proves that aging isn't about slowing down, it's about refining the ride," Lars Østergaard, senior vice president sales at GORI Propeller.
