Europe's first all-inclusive One Design sailing event: the Croatia Regatta

by Rob Dekkers 22 Jun 07:22 PDT 13-20 September 2025

From September 13th - 20th 2025, the Adriatic coast will host Europe's first all-inclusive One Design regatta: the Croatia Regatta.

This unique sailing event blends competitive sport with the comfort of a boutique travel experience. A week of sailing, exploring, and pure enjoyment - all perfectly organised to the last detail.

Set around Split & Hvar, the regatta follows ancient sailing routes past secluded bays and historic towns. Participants can look forward to a well-balanced program with thrilling daily races and atmospheric evenings filled with culinary surprises, meaningful conversations on deck, and late-night socialising.

One Design: a level playing field for true competition

The fleet consists of identical, high-performance Salona 46 cruisers. As a result, success relies not on superior equipment but on teamwork, tactics, and sailing skills. This makes the regatta both accessible and exciting for competitive racers and ambitious beginners alike.

For teams and solo sailors - no experience required!

Places are still available. Croatia Regatta welcomes full teams, pairs, and solo sailors. No previous sailing experience is necessary: experienced skippers are available to lead teams, and a professional support crew provides technical assistance along the way.

By day: intense racing; by night: relaxation, reflection, and connection.

All-inclusive participation package

Participants enjoy a fully curated sailing week, including: 7-day charter aboard a Salona 46, 4-day racing and social program with professional race management, daily breakfasts, 4 extended dinners with drinks, dockside drinks, happy hours, daily prize ceremonies, technical support, mooring fees, and airport transfers.
