Following the succesful launch on 31 May 2025 at the Mengi Yay shipyard facilities in Tuzla, M/Y Cabana is now conducting extensive sea trials in the waters of Istanbul.
Built in steel and aluminium as part of the Atlante series of semi custom yachts, Atlante Classic 35 M/Y Cabana measures 34.5 metres in length and 8.24 metres in beam and offers the largest gross tonnage of any yacht in her class at 330 GT. Twin Volvo Penta D16 850 engine with SCR System ensure that she is IMO Tier III compliant. With 11 Knots cruising speed and 14.5 knots max her 40,000 litre fuel tanks give a fuel range of more than 4,000 nautical miles.
Initially conceived as a 33-metre, sub 300 GT concept, the project evolved through months of intensive development and with close collaboration with the vessel's owner's, who were ready and willing to avoid the limitations and contraints of the 300GT limit, into a long-range explorer yacht boasting 330 GT of gross tonnage. The highly voluminous layout features five en suite cabins, generous storage areas, a beach club, and expansive deck spaces.
Scheduled for delivery at the the of June, M/Y Cabana is expected to cruise the Mediterranean this summer.
Conceived as part of the "Atlante" series of semi-custom yachts, M/Y Cabana features exterior and interior design by Paolo Dose of Treste based VYD Studio, and naval architecture by Giuseppe Arrabito of Arrabito Naval Architects of Livorno. M/Y Cabana was built at the Mengi Yay shipyard in Tuzla, with project supervision and management carried out by Fatih Dalkiran on behalf of the Turkish marine consultancy firm Antalyachts. M/Y Cabana was commissioned by an experienced Northern European client who was introduced by and represented by Mark Seaton of Cote d'Azur based yacht brokerage firm YACHT throughout the build process.
