The countdown has begun - in just 100 days, Geneva will host the first-ever Rolex Switzerland Sail Grand Prix (September 20-21, 2025).

Bringing the most exciting racing on water to Lake Geneva, the sport's top athletes will race at speeds up to 100 km/h, set against the iconic backdrop of Mont-Blanc and the Jet d'Eau.

Rolex, Title Partner of the global racing championship and official timepiece of SailGP since its inception in 2019, will be Title Partner for the inaugural Swiss event.

Rolex Director of Communication and Image Arnaud Boetsch said: "Since the beginning of our partnership with SailGP, we have shared a common vision of innovation, performance, and responsibility. Supporting SailGP once again for this exceptional first-time event in Geneva reflects our desire to promote these values and inspire future generations. More than just a championship, SailGP is a platform for breaking boundaries, where cutting-edge technology and shaping the future of sailing are fused together. In addition, being the title sponsor of the Rolex Switzerland Sail Grand Prix taking place in our hometown and on Lake Geneva is of course very important to us!"

Twelve national teams will go head-to-head aboard identical, cutting-edge F50 foiling catamarans - vessels of technology and speed - delivering racing that is as thrilling as it is innovative. Spectators will be able to experience the adrenaline-fueled action right on the shoreline, only meters from the racing.

SailGP Managing Director Andrew Thompson said: "Bringing SailGP to Lake Geneva - the home of our Title Partner Rolex - has been a longstanding ambition, a symbol of our enduring relationship. With only 100 days to go, we know that Swiss fans will support the event, enjoying world-class hospitality in partnership with La Folie Douce, whilst cheering on the Switzerland SailGP Team."

The SailGP Race Stadium, located on the quays beside the Yacht Club de Genève, will host nearly 7,000 spectators across the weekend. Ticket categories include the Waterfront Premium Lounge, presented by La Folie Douce, for a top end, refined atmosphere, and Waterfront Grandstands - placing fans right in the heart of the action.

The Rolex Switzerland Sail Grand Prix promises a vibrant and immersive experience, featuring action-packed fleet racing, roaming music and entertainment, country flags flying high, and F50 fly-by's only meters from the lakeshore. Spectators will enjoy unrivaled views from grandstands placed in the middle of the action as well as giant screens and live commentary to ensure not a moment of the competition is missed.

This event marks the Switzerland SailGP Team's home debut, led by Geneva native and Olympian, Sébastien Schneiter in the driver seat. Schneiter said: "Sharing this world-class event with our fans and supporters in Switzerland is an honor. Feeling the energy and enthusiasm of the crowd just meters away is a unique source of motivation for the whole team. We can't wait to experience these incredible moments together and represent Switzerland at our first home event."

Taking place in iconic cities around the world, the Rolex SailGP Championship features 12 national teams battling it out in identical 50-foot foiling catamarans, racing faster than wind speeds at over 100 kilometers per hour (60 mph). The Rolex Switzerland Sail Grand Prix | Geneva is the tenth event on the Rolex SailGP 2025 Season calendar. Tickets are on sale now and selling fast, find out more and purchase at SailGP.com/Geneva.
