The Yachtmaster Insurance Three Rivers Race at Horning Sailing Club is an iconic event for many reasons. Held on the Norfolk Broads in England, this 24-hour challenge takes in a 50-mile course, and this year saw the 64th running of the event with 108 boats taking part, ranging from River Cruisers to Wayfarers, and many boats in-between such as Norfolk Punts.
There are strong tides and currents, as well as tree-lined banks to contend with, but the most unique scenes are at the bridges, where the sailors have to drop their masts and row underneath, often leaving it to the very last minute.
With thanks to video by Holly Hancock, Robert Hancock, Martin Bulldeath, Chris Mayo and Shirley Needham we've put together this compilation of some of the bridge moments in this year's race.
