Switzerland SailGP Team is back in action this weekend, racing at the iconic Mubadala New York Sail Grand Prix, 7 - 8 June.

  • Switzerland SailGP Team takes on the Big Apple this weekend, 7 - 8 June
  • Racing takes place at 21:30 CEST, watch live on Blue Sport and SailGP's YouTube channel
  • New York marks the sixth stop of the 2025 calendar and final event of the U.S. leg
  • Mark your calendars: The high-tech, high-speed world of SailGP heads to Switzerland 20 - 21 September

Set against Manhattan's skyline and fans watching from the shore, the team will go head-to-head with 11 international crews in cutting-edge F50 foiling catamarans, hitting speeds of over 95 km/h.

Fans in Switzerland can watch the action live on Blue Sport, along with SailGP's YouTube channel, from 21:30 - 23:00 CEST. How to watch around the world HERE.

New York marks the final stop of the U.S. leg and the sixth event of SailGP's 2025 season. Since the Rolex SailGP Championship began in November, the Switzerland SailGP Team has made solid progress and arrives in New York ranked seventh overall.

Driver Sébastien Schneiter shared his thoughts ahead of the weekend: "We're all really looking forward to getting back out on the water again. Since San Francisco, back in March, we've spent time analysing the data and pinpointing a few key areas we believe can really improve our performance. We've shown we can win races this Season and now it's about consistency. So, we're heading into New York with a clear focus on what we need to do and work on.

"New York is obviously an impressive city, an iconic backdrop and super nice venue. But it's also a very difficult one with lots of tide, lots of current, the winds are generally quite light and unstable, so it makes it very tricky racing. But also, lots of opportunities and I think it will suit us well."

Off the water, Switzerland SailGP Team recently welcomed Boet Brinkgreve as CEO. His focus will be on accelerating team development and driving growth, as the Championship heads closer to home for the European leg - gearing up to the inaugural Rolex Switzerland Sail Grand Prix in Geneva, 20-21 September. Grandstand tickets remain available, though Premium Lounge access - presented by La Folie Douce - is now fully sold out.

Tickets are also still available for New York this weekend, at SailGP.com/NY.
