Lake Lipno delivered a completely different atmosphere on Day 2 compared to Day 1.
The day started under clear skies, with more stable and consistent wind conditions—ideal for tactical racing. However, just after two races were completed, a storm approached and racing had to be suspended. Ultimately, the Race Committee made the decision to cancel the remainder of the day's program for safety.
Despite the shortened schedule, there were some significant shifts on the leaderboard. The top teams are now beginning to emerge as front-runners in the event.
Top three rankings after day 2 - Eurocup 7 (Czech Republic)
1st Place - CZE 3087: Karolína Lojková / Petr Pelnár
Representing JK Cerná v Pošumaví and Lokomotiva Plze, this Czech duo delivered a consistent set of results, including a race win and top-five finishes, and currently lead the standings with 19.0 points.
2nd Place - GER 3353: Tizian Lembeck / Julian Lembeck
Sailing for Germany, the Lembeck brothers are in strong form. A win in the final race of the day helped secure their second-place position with 26.0 points overall.
3rd Place - AUT 3165: Antonia Senger-Weiss / Charlotte Senger-Weiss
This Austrian sister team has shown impressive teamwork and race execution, placing them firmly in third with 31.0 points.
Lake Lipno: A venue that demands adaptability
Lake Lipno continues to test the skills of the 29er fleet. With a mix of gusty conditions, stable breezes, and unpredictable weather, success here requires both strategy and flexibility. The interrupted racing on Day 2 underscores the importance of staying sharp and prepared for every scenario.
