Switzerland SailGP Team is pleased to announce the appointment of Boet Brinkgreve as its Chief Executive Officer, marking a strategic step in the team's ambition to become a top contender in the global SailGP league.

Boet Brinkgreve brings over two decades of international business leadership experience, having held multiple senior executive roles at global companies including Richemont and Firmenich. His track record includes leading transformations, driving strategic growth, and building high-performing, international teams across continents.

Beyond the boardroom, Boet is a passionate sailor who has competed in multiple Olympic classes and raced high-performance catamarans. He remains closely connected to the sport as an avid wing foiler. This deeply rooted sailing experience, combined with his strategic business acumen, positions him well to lead the Switzerland SailGP Team into its next phase. As CEO, he will also leverage the team as a platform for broader engagement and long-term value creation.

"I'm thrilled to join the Switzerland SailGP Team at such a pivotal moment," said Boet. "The Swiss team has immense potential - both on the water and in the market. My priority is to establish a culture of excellence and forge strong, long-term partnerships that will fuel our success and drive sustainable growth."

Under Brinkgreve's leadership, the Switzerland SailGP Team will focus on:

Building a strong commercial base: Through strategic partnerships and targeted investments, the team will strengthen its financial foundation and ensure long-term sustainability.

Fostering sailing excellence: By developing top sailing talent and nurturing a performance-driven culture, the team will pursue consistent results on the water.

Showcasing Swiss excellence: The team will embody the values of Swiss excellence, innovation, and collaboration, serving as a proud ambassador on the global stage.

The team also expresses its heartfelt thanks to Tanguy Cariou, a valued member of Team Tilt since 2014 and a key figure in launching the Switzerland SailGP Team in 2021. His leadership, experience, and dedication have laid a strong foundation for the team's growth. He departs with the team's full appreciation and will continue to provide an advisory and support role to Boet in the coming months.

Boet Brinkgreve will make his debut as CEO at the upcoming Mubadala New York Sail Grand Prix, taking place from 7-8 June 2025.
