CNB Rendez-Vous 2025 at Yacht Club Porto Rotondo

by CNB Yachts 26 May 13:12 PDT

CNB celebrated its annual Rendez-Vous in the stunning setting of Costa Smeralda with a fleet of 23 yachts converging in Porto Rotondo for a weekend of sailing, camaraderie, and elegance on and off the water.

The prestigious French yacht brand, now part of the Solaris Group since 2021, brought together CNB owners and enthusiasts worldwide. The event, now a beloved tradition, featured three days of regattas, exclusive gatherings, and social celebrations in the idyllic surroundings of northern Sardinia.

"This has become a truly anticipated and well-loved event among our owners," said Vincent Arnaud, CNB's Commercial Director. "Many yachts have travelled far and wide to join us and share these three incredible days of passion and fun. Racing among these beautiful islands is always a memorable experience."

The Rendez-Vous officially began on Friday evening with a welcome cocktail at the purpose-built village within the Yacht Club Porto Rotondo, hosting over 200 guests. The on-the-water program followed Saturday and Sunday with coastal races through the Gulf of Porto Rotondo. Saturday featured two regattas under steady northeast winds (14-18 knots), with a refreshing champagne break between races. Sunday saw slightly lighter breezes (around 12 knots) for the third and final regatta, taking the fleet around the Isole de li Nibani before returning in style to the marina.

The fleet was divided into two divisions:

  • Division A: Bordeaux 60 and CNB 66
  • Division B: CNB yachts over 66 feet

The event's flagship was the majestic CNB 82 Simeron, while particular attention was drawn to the brand-new CNB 78 models—Belles, Zampa, and Beautiful Day—the first yachts from Solaris's successful new CNB line.

Evenings were dedicated to elegant social events, culminating in a spectacular gala at the Sporting Hotel Porto Rotondo. The gala featured dinner, a live concert, and a poolside DJ set that carried the festivities into the early morning hours.

Vincent Arnaud hosted Sunday's prize-giving ceremony alongside Philippe Briand, the renowned French designer behind CNB's naval architecture, and Marc Giorgetti, owner of the Solaris Group.

Winners of the 2025 CNB Rendez-Vous:

  • Group A: Expression of London (Bordeaux 60), with a flawless series of three first-place finishes.
  • Group B: Amouri (CNB 76), with strong results (2nd, 5th, 1st) securing the overall win.

The event concluded with a heartfelt thank you to all participants and partners and an exciting announcement: the CNB Rendez-Vous 2026 will mark the event's 10th anniversary, promising an even larger fleet and more spectacular celebrations.
