The countdown is on! The 2025 29er World Championship will land in the iconic city of Porto, Portugal, with the fleet descending on Marina da Afurada - Douro Marina from 1st-8th August 2025.

After an incredible 2024 Worlds in Aarhus, where Alex Demurtas and Giovanni Santi claimed the title and over 250 teams battled for glory, expectations are sky-high. And with the event returning to southern Europe, sunshine, strong breeze, and fierce competition are practically guaranteed.

Set at the mouth of the Douro River, just across from Porto's historic old town, this venue blends ideal sailing conditions with unbeatable culture, food, and vibe. It's the ultimate World Championship experience.
