Sail Canada at 2025 French Olympic Week Day 5

Here are the highlights of Sail Canada's National Team on DAY 5 of the 2025 French Olympic Week held April 21-26 in Hyères, FRA, the second event of the 2025 Sailing Grand Slam Series.

Two Canadian boats will take part in tomorrow's Medal Races: Antonia and Georgia Lewin-LaFrance in 49erFX, currently 3rd, and Clara Gravely in ILCA 6, currently 10th.

Highlights: Day 5/6

Clara Gravely

She is currently 10th overall in ILCA 6 after the qualification races and has qualified for the Medal Race* on Saturday for the first time in her career in an international event.

Antonia & Georgia Lewin-LaFrance

They climbed four places with 1st and 8th positions on Friday and are currently 3rd overall in 49erFX before the Medal Race* on Saturday.

Arie Moffat & Will Jones

They recorded 9th, 5th and 9th positions in the silver fleet to climbed six spots.

*Medal Race:

last race of an event contested by the top 10 boats following the qualification races and where points are doubled /
