ILCA 6 Youth European Championship 2025 at Vilamoura Sailing - Day 5

by Prow Media 18 Apr 08:44 PDT 14-16 April 2025

The fifth day of the ILCA 6 Youth European Championship unfolded under similar weather conditions to the previous day, offering steady south-west winds and fair racing conditions for all fleets.

Competitors completed two races as scheduled, with the breeze starting at around 7-9 knots and gradually increasing to 10-12 knots in the afternoon. The consistent wind allowed for strategic and engaging racing as sailors pushed for their best results in the final series.

With just one day remaining in this remarkable event, anticipation builds for an exciting conclusion in Vilamoura. We're looking forward to a thrilling final day on the water, closing out a week of high-level competition and unforgettable moments.
