ILCA 6 Youth European Championship 2025 at Vilamoura Sailing - Day 5

by Prow Media 18 Apr 08:44 PDT 14-16 April 2025

The fifth day of the ILCA 6 Youth European Championship unfolded under similar weather conditions to the previous day, offering steady south-west winds and fair racing conditions for all fleets.

Competitors completed two races as scheduled, with the breeze starting at around 7-9 knots and gradually increasing to 10-12 knots in the afternoon. The consistent wind allowed for strategic and engaging racing as sailors pushed for their best results in the final series.
