EU officially pauses Retaliatory Tariffs on U.S.-made boats amid ongoing trade talks

On April 13, the European Union officially suspended its proposed retaliatory tariffs on US-made imports, including recreational boats, until July 14. The European Commission announced the 90-day pause following President Donald Trump's move to delay the implementation of higher tariff amounts on certain countries.
Two Provisions Adopted in the EU:
- The EU voted to approve the new countermeasures (updated from 2018) against US products. For recreational boats, it ranges from 10% to 25%.
- The EU subsequently voted to suspend the new retaliatory tariffs until July 14.
