While there was plenty of drama and tension in the 16s, the 13s' title race was a little more routine after a season of dominance from the Harken 13ft Skiff Team.

Skipper Heidi Bates and crewmate Orlando Sadlik had put themselves in an unassailable position after winning the first three heats and backing it up with a 6,2,1 in the next 3 heats.

They still wanted to finish off with an exclamation mark on the final day, but 2 seconds would have to do.

Harken finished more than 10 points clear on its nearest rival on the overall pointscore.

IMEI (Ollie Ross) placed second following a consistent campaign with Botany Scaffold (Sophie Hart) third.

It was the second club championship victory in a row for Bates and Sadlik, coming off their win in both the NSW and Australian 13ft Championships.

Rivals will be relieved to know the pair now plan to go down different paths, with Sadlik eyeing a move to a bigger boat next season.
