Dragon Sailing Events Set to Take Over Vilamoura

The 8th Algarve Dragon Winter Cup has officially come to an end, but the excitement is far from over. Over the past months, these events served as the perfect stage for teams to fine-tune their performance ahead of an exhilarating series of major competitions set to take place in Vilamoura.

With world-class conditions and a reputation as a premier sailing destination, Vilamoura is ready to welcome the Dragon fleet back for an unmissable lineup of upcoming events:

  • Dragon Cup - 24th to 27th April
  • Dragon World Championship Warm-Up - 5th to 8th May
  • Dragon World Championship by Tivoli Hotels & Resorts - 10th to 17th May

Competitors are reminded to register before the deadlines to avoid late entry penalties: Dragon Cup - 1st April; Dragon World Championship - 31st March.

Beyond the racing, an exclusive social agenda is planned, ensuring that participants and their guests enjoy the best of Vilamoura. A highlight of the program will be na exclusive dinner at the stunning Lakeside of Tivoli Marina Vilamoura, offering an elegant and intimate evening in one of the region's most prestigious settings. Additional events, entertainment, and hospitality experiences will make this championship truly unforgettable, for sailors, guests and families.
