The superyacht regatta Ibiza JoySail is getting ready to hold its fifth edition from 18 to 21 September 2025, anchoring its prestige as one of the most eagerly anticipated events in the international yacht racing calendar.

Organised by STP Shipyard Palma and Marina Ibiza, this exclusive event will once again attract some of the world's most spectacular yachts to the crystal-clear waters of Ibiza and Formentera.

For the first time ever, the Ibiza JoySail entry list filled up as soon as registrations opened, promptly reaching the quota of participating superyachts and leading organisers to open a waiting list for other boats interested in taking part.

This success is chiefly due to the high repeat rate of yachts that already competed in previous editions and did not want to miss out on the 2025 event.

However, the organising team is encouraging interested owners and crews to sign up for the waiting list as there is still an opportunity to enjoy this experience. What's more, yachts that register now will benefit from a priority invitation for the 2026 edition.

"Every year we're seeing the enthusiasm for the Ibiza JoySail grow and grow, with a combination of returning teams and new entrants attracted by the race's truly unique atmosphere", says Pablo Ferrer, member of the race committee. "We're confident that the 2025 edition will be even more special, with an exceptional level of competition and the unparalleled experience that Ibiza offers both on and off the water".

Ibiza JoySail is not just a world-class regatta, but also a family-and-friends event with a fascinating events programme, blending the thrills and spills of racing with extraordinary activities on dry land. Also, the laid-back but competitive nature of the race instantly made this event a benchmark within the Mediterranean superyacht circuit.

With 18 to 21 September already firmly set on the calendar, the countdown to Ibiza JoySail 2025 is on.
