The BSI Marine Equipment Group has appointed Mark Barwell as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) with immediate effect.

"I am delighted Mark has accepted this role," says Morten Madsen, CEO for the BSI Marine Equipment Group. "Mark brings extensive experience, knowledge and insight to the role as he has worked for 20 years as a sales director for OYS and later OMS. This skillset can now be better strategically utilised across the group."

Barwell will be based in the OMS office in Christchurch, UK. His central role is to create synergies between different commercial functions. He will work closely with the sales & marketing, R&D departments and management to achieve the best possible results for the group.

Excited for this new challenge, Barwell comments, "Since the acquisition of OMS into the BSI Marine Equipment Group I have had the opportunity to learn more about all the companies within the group. I am excited to look at how we can enhance the customer experience further and ensure that the company effectively achieves its goals."

Brands within the BSI Marine Equipment Group are BSI A/S, Gori Propeller A/S, Hundested Propeller A/S, Jefa Steering A/S, Moonlight A/S, OYS Ltd and Ocean Marine Systems (OMS) Limited across multiple sites in Denmark, the UK, the USA and France.
