Raymarine - global leader in high-performance marine electronics for the recreational boating, marine first-responder and law-enforcement markets - announced today it has incorporated new technology to add compatibility with Seakeeper, the global market leader in marine gyro stabilization.

This new connection opens the door to an array of practical benefits for boaters with Raymarine and Seakeeper systems on board.

With this integration, Raymarine's Yachtsense gateway is the first to provide the ability to remotely activate an onboard Seakeeper gyro using the Raymarine App. This allows for the Seakeeper to spool up before boaters board their vessel, saving boat-prep and launch time, as well as making the most of the comfort offered by Seakeeper.

"We are excited to work with the team at Seakeeper to bring innovative new solutions to Raymarine and Seakeeper customers," said Michelle Hildyard Vice President of Operations at Raymarine. "Seakeeper has openly worked with our engineers to integrate both of our industry-leading technologies to make boating easier and more enjoyable for all. Boaters will appreciate the simplicity of operating their Seakeeper from our Raymarine Yachtsense gateway, opening up future technology sharing for additional functionality to come."

"There's a reason we say, 'once you feel it, you'll never boat without it'," said Seakeeper Chief Commercial Officer Will Cimino. "Seakeeper is a must-have for boaters, leading the industry in stabilization technology. We're thrilled to work with companies like Raymarine that are investing in our shared customers and providing value through greater connectivity and functionality of our systems onboard."

Because this new technology is available exclusively for boats factory-equipped with Raymarine's Yachtsense digital-switching solution, boaters should contact an authorized installer or Raymarine's customer service department to verify their vessel's Yachtsense configuration and compatibility.
