Once again comprising four events in May, June, July, and September, this year the series encompasses new classes, parties and more. We have big plans to make this year's Summer Series the biggest and best yet.

Kicking off on 16th to 18th May, the North Sails May Regatta incorporates both the J/70 Southern Championships (Grand Slam 2) and Round 2 of the Cape 31 UK series. In Black Group we will once again be running racing for IRC classes this year encompassing both the HP30 and new P30 classes. We also welcome Admirals Cup competitors (in both AC classes) looking to gear up with our extended rating eligibility. The one design J/111 and SB20 classes will also be racing once again. The Cape 31s will race for three days, whilst all other classes will race on Saturday and Sunday only.

In June we are delighted to bring back the Royal Southern Mid-Summer Regatta. Taking place on 20th to 22nd June, this is gearing up to be the centrepiece of the Summer Series, and the biggest event we are hosting in 2025. Sponsored by Key Yachting and, for the first time ever, incorporating J-Cup, this event will see a record nine classes competing. Three course areas will see racing for IRC classes, J/70s, Sonatas, SB20s, J/111s, J/109s, and J/99s. Some classes will race for three days, and some for two. And thats not all! On the Saturday evening, we will be hosting our biggest Summer Series party yet celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the Prince Philip Yacht Haven, plus J-Cup and regatta socials. This party will be open for all competitors and members. Berthing is sure to be booked up early so remember to contact the Sailing Office to reserve your spot.

The Salcombe Gin July Regatta takes place on 18th to 19th July. This event welcomes a brand-new class to the Summer Series the Etchells who will be sailing from the PPYH for the weekend. There will also be racing for IRC classes, J/111s, and SB20s plus of course the famous Salcombe Gin reception on the Saturday evening.

The finale of the Summer Series for 2025 takes place on 19th to 21st September. The first ever National Championships for the new P30 class starts on the Friday, with other classes joining over the weekend. In Black Group, alongside the regular classes, the P40s will race within IRC, whilst in White Group there is sprint racing for both J/70s and SB20s.

Entries are now open, so make sure to sign-up. You can enter individual regattas, or the whole series for a discounted rate. Early bird prices until the end of April.
