Vetus to showcase innovation and functionality at Miami International Boat Show

by VETUS 8 Feb 01:29 AEDT February 12-16, 2025

Complete range of boating solutions on display at the world's largest boat and yacht show, February 12-16, Miami Beach Convention Center, Booth MB1514.

VETUS, the leading developer of complete onboard boat systems, will showcase its latest solutions at the 2025 Miami International Boat Show. Renowned for setting standards in marine technology, VETUS continues to enhance the boating experience with innovative solutions that ensure the most essential systems onboard function seamlessly, even when pushed to their limits. With a focus on reliability, performance and ease of use, VETUS provides boat owners with peace of mind that their vessels' systems will perform at their best, no matter the challenge. At the show, attendees will have the opportunity to explore how VETUS' cutting-edge technology is reshaping the future of marine excellence.

Among the highlights at the show, VETUS will present its BOW PRO Boosted 400 series, including the BOWB385 and BOWB420 models, which deliver up to 420kgf of thrust at 48VDC, offering unmatched efficiency for larger vessels from 25m to 40m. Additionally, VETUS will showcase the Rim Drive RD160, a revolutionary 160 kgf thruster that eliminates gears for exceptionally quiet and smooth operation.

VETUS will also highlight its E-LINE range, a compact and efficient 48V electric propulsion solution suitable for both re-power projects and new builds. The E-LINE enables silent, environmentally friendly cruising with exceptional manoeuvring capabilities. Featuring VETUS's Active Electronic Braking, it ensures full control without requiring a gearbox or clutch. The high torque of the electric motor allows rapid changes in rotation direction, enabling the boat to stop within one boat length if necessary.

These innovations are designed to make manoeuvring and operation on the water easier, quieter, and more efficient than ever before.

Alongside VETUS, partnering brand Maxwell will showcase its industry leading anchoring solutions, including the Superyacht 26 (SY26), RCV4500, and Windlass Range. Introduced in 2002, the SY26 played a pivotal role in advancing Maxwell's capabilities in the superyacht sector. Designed to meet the evolving demands of the superyacht industry, the SY26 has been featured on some of the world's most prestigious vessels, offering a combination of power, durability, and refined aesthetics that enhance both function and form. Whether aboard luxury yachts or high-performance commercial vessels, the SY26 remains a trusted choice for superior anchoring. Maxwell's Windlass range further reinforces its commitment to innovation, providing seamless, reliable solutions for a variety of superyacht applications.

Visitors to the show can explore both brand's innovative solutions firsthand through an integrated engine controls display, as well as a live simulator showcasing the effectiveness of the Dual BOW Pro, alongside a functioning RC8 windlass.

Announced last year, VETUS and Mastry Engine Center have collaborated to launch factory-baked thruster installations, offering a tremendous benefit to boaters and the confidence of a three-year warranty. Visitors to this year's event will be able to find out more about this ground-breaking partnership and understand the benefits available to boaters wishing to take advantage of these factory-supported installations.

Christopher DeBoy, President at VETUS Maxwell US, said: "We are excited to showcase our latest innovations at the 2025 Miami International Boat Show. With our cutting-edge thruster technology, advanced anchoring solutions, and industry-leading onboard systems, we continue to push the boundaries of functionality and performance. This event is the perfect opportunity for boaters, builders, and industry professionals to experience firsthand how VETUS and the other brands in the YANMAR Marine Recreational Business Unit are shaping the future of boating."
