After Boris Herrmann on Malizia-Seaexplorer finished the Vendée Globe, Sam Davies arrived in Les Sables d'Olonne, with both skippers greeted by huge crowds and a flotilla of boats to escort them down the channel.

For Arnaud Boissières, the skipper of La Mie Câline, it was a bad day when he was dismasted, and he has deployed a LibertyKite to help power him towards the Caribbean.

We then look at the Tracker, Leaderboard and PredictWind routing options for Damien Seguin in 15th as he leads the tight group just to the north of the Azores exclusion zone.

We conclude with an update Oliver Heer.
