The wait is almost over! SailGP has arrived in Auckland - the City of Sails - for the first time and final preparations are underway for the second event of the 2025 Season on 18-19 January!
With Quentin Delapierre's France expected to rejoin the fleet, an increased fleet of 12 teams - the biggest yet - will be competing for the event title. After sitting out the season opener awaiting a new F50, the French will be raring to make their mark on the season leaderboard when racing begins. Peter Burlings New Zealand will be looking to harness the support of home town crowds and defend its event title from Christchurch, while the fleet-wide rollout of SailGPs cutting-edge T-Foils promises faster and closer racing than ever before!
