There’s no stopping the thrills at the 2024 Moth Worlds even on registration day, January 3rd, 2025.

This day will promise high-speed thrills with a twist; a showcase of yachting legends teaming up with some of the youth volunteers at the Moth Worlds will race each other in the new, double-handed, hiking-skiff, the VX Two.

Russell Coutts, Jo Aleh, Elise Beavis, and Rod Davis, names synonymous with World Championship titles, America’s Cup, Olympic medals and SailGP and along with their crew’s, will race it out in an exciting race format that makes the most of asymmetric sailing.

Special thanks to the race organisers of the Moth Worlds, Manly Sailing Club, for pulling this day together. Its a day that ticks many boxes including showing how exciting grass roots sailing can be in a modern, fast one-design small boat. It also gives some of yachting's "legends" and youth sailors a chance to enjoy the sailing vibe at the Moth Worlds, plus provides spectators a chance to enjoy a feast of action in the build-up to the Moth World Championships.

So just who will be the legend on the Legends Day Out?

Stay posted for the answer on January 3rd, 2025.
