Ramsgate Week 2025 Pre-New Year Update

by Karen Cox 30 Dec 2024 03:21 AEDT 20-25 July 2025

We are delighted to be providing our pre-new year update on the 2025 Ramsgate Week Regatta.

The regatta will again start with the traditional "Round the Goodwins" historical race on Sunday 20th July and then from Monday 21st to Friday 25th will follow our traditional 6 class series of races.

Our double early bird option is now open and provides a time limited opportunity to keep the entry costs down for our competitors. Please do take advantage of this and get your entry confirmed before this expires at the end of January.

Ramsgate Week is taking place in July and supports our plans to include something for everyone in our friendly family regatta.

The format will be generally in line with the 2024 regatta with the continuation of the new class 4 introduced in 2023.

Class 4 is a Performance Cruiser class catering for those with asymmetric and code 0 sails.

In 2024 it was hotly contested with "Fox Out The Box" taking the honours at the end of the week on equal points with "Jura".

This year we are also promoting a classic cruiser class and providing we see two or more entries this will be the first time classic boats will be seen racing off Ramsgate for many years.

Our trophies will include the QEII Cup and the Gold Cup along with trophies for every class throughout the week. We hope to see you at the 2025 regatta, in the meantime have a great Near Years Eve.

Please visit www.RamsgateWeek.com for further details and to take advantage of the early entry options.
