The 7th Portugal Grand Prix continues to captivate, with yet another thrilling
day of world-class dinghy sailing. Today's stronger winds brought even more intensity and
excitement to the final day of qualifications, challenging sailors across the ILCA 6 (Men and
Women), ILCA 7, 49er, 49erFX, and Mixed 470 classes to deliver their best performances on the
waters of Vilamoura, in the heart of the Algarve.
Number of races completed:
- 49er and 49erFX: 3 races
- ILCA 7, ILCA 6 (Women and Men) and 470 Mixed: 2 races
Today's wind was from the east at 14-17 knots.
Looking ahead to tomorrow, the schedule is packed with more thrilling races, including the grand
finale of Round 1:
- 09:30 - Coaches meeting
- 11:00 - ILCA 7 and 49er
- 13:00 - 49erFX, ILCA 6 (Women and Men), 470
- Prize giving ceremony
- 21:30 - Sailors Party at Luna Rossa
The day will culminate in the Gathering Sailors Party, where athletes will come together to
celebrate the week's incredible performances.
