Innovative catamaran builder Silent Yachts has signed the renowned superyacht studio Nuvolari Lenard to pen the design for a new generation of its solar yachts. The collaboration brings together two leading brands in their spheres and underlines Silent Yachts' bold vision for the future. The result will be a fresh breed of catamaran with next-level accommodation and styling.

The first model to sport a Nuvolari Lenard exterior and interior is still on the drawing board with a launch slated for 2026. Looking further to the future, every new Silent Yachts boat up to the 24m mark will be designed by the Venice-based studio, which is famous for its work on some of the world's largest and iconic gigayachts.

"The collaboration is a blend of Nuvolari Lenard's sophistication and innovative approach to yacht design with Silent Yachts' philosophy of sustainability and advanced technology," said Silent Yachts CEO Fabrizio Iarrera. "The design studio's architectural sensitivity will bring a refined elegance to Silent Yachts, bridging form and function in harmony. The goal is to enhance not just the aesthetics but also the overall on-board experience."

Although Nuvolari Lenard has put its signature on iconic private yachts such as 106m Black Pearl, 122m Kismet and the muscular 141m Nord, it is just as experienced with the sub-24m space. Founded in 1990, recent years have seen the studio working with brands including Palmer & Johnson and MCY. For its part, Silent Yachts is most active in the 18-24m range, although there is a plan for a larger project.

"Nuvolari Lenard brings the same passion and attention to detail to both superyachts and smaller semi-custom yachts, always maintaining our signature style," said co-founders Carlo Nuvolari and Dan Lenard in a statement. "We are excited to be working with Silent Yachts, who share our values of innovation, sustainability, and a commitment to pushing boundaries."
