The Italian Sea Group announces the launch of the sailing yacht Katana, the fourth in Perini Navi's 60-meter ketch series.

The launching activities, which took place at the Marina di Carrara shipyard, mark an important milestone for this ambitious project, which combines technology, performance and uncompromising luxury.

Developed in collaboration with naval architect Ron Holland, the Katana was designed to offer a unique sailing experience where safety, comfort and performance are the absolute protagonists.

The yacht, with an aluminum hull and superstructure and a displacement of approximately 570 tons, features carbon fiber masts, booms and rigging, a choice that helps ensure maximum lightness and strength.

One of the main innovations of this yacht is the redesigned sail system, which improves ease of handling and optimizes performance at sea.

In addition, thanks to the latest generation dynamic positioning system, the yacht is able to independently maintain its position and direction without the use of an anchor, offering even safer and more comfortable sailing.

The interiors, designed by renowned French designer Remi Tessier, are a blend of modernity and tradition, designed to meet the luxury and comfort needs of the most demanding owners. The spacious suites, including the owner's area and five guest cabins, are characterized by understated elegance, where every detail is designed to ensure maximum comfort.

"The launch of this extraordinary 60-meter yacht is a milestone that fills us with pride and attests to the strength and continuous growth of the Group's brands. Perini Navi will continue to stand out for its distinctive style and ability to innovate without sacrificing tradition"- Giovanni Costantino, Founder & CEO of The Italian Sea Group - "The Katana reflects our commitment to excellence and perfection, and demonstrates the strength and vision of a brand that not only looks to the future, but builds it with passion and determination".

The Katana will be delivered in early 2025.
