Circolo del Remo e della Vela Italia, organizer of the prestigious Tre Golfi Sailing Week, is thrilled to announce that entries for the 2025 edition of the event are now open.

Interested participants can register on the official website, where the Notice of Race and additional details are also available.

This year's Tre Golfi Sailing Week is proud to have ROLEX OFFICIAL TIME PIECE and LORO PIANA confirmed as main partners, continuing their valued support and commitment to endorse excellence in sailing. Their involvement underscores the event's stature and enhances the experience for both the competitors and the organizers.

The 70th edition of the Tre Golfi Sailing Week will bring together two major championships in the stunning setting of the Gulf of Naples: the ORC Mediterranean Championship, scheduled from May 7th to May 10th, and the IMA Maxi European Championship, which will take place from May 16th to May 22nd. Both events will feature coastal and windward-leeward races in the Gulf of Naples, with Sorrento as the home base, and will welcome some of the finest ORC and Maxi yachts in the world.

Benoît de Froidmont, president of the International Maxi Association, stated: "We are pleased to have the Maxi European Championship back in Sorrento in 2025. The event attracts great interest from owners and crews due to the beauty of the location and the technical conditions of the races in the enchanting setting of the Gulf of Naples. The hospitality of our friends at CRV Italia makes the event even more enjoyable, thanks to the quality of social events they are able to arrange. Finally, the presence of sponsors such as Rolex and Loro Piana ensures the top quality of the event".

"The 2025 regatta will serve as a rehearsal for the ORC World Championship in Sorrento in 2026. It will be crucial for ORC to verify on site that all organization and logistics are ready to host the World Championship the following year, where over one hundred boats from around the world are expected," commented Bruno Finzi, ORC president. "For us, it is essential to strengthen the excellent collaboration with CRV Italia and make every technical and organizational decision well in advance of 2026. I will also personally attend the ORC Mediterranean Championship again this year".

The Tre Golfi Sailing Week also includes the historic Tre Golfi Regatta, one of Mediterranean oldest offshore races, which celebrates its 70th anniversary in 2025. This iconic 156-nautical-mile course traditionally starts in Naples and weaves through the three renowned gulfs of Naples, Salerno, and Gaeta, rounding their iconic islands, before returning to Naples. This year's edition promises an unforgettable experience as it continues to attract top international competitors as well as family and friends teams, combining stunning Mediterranean landscapes with challenging competition, intense competition and Neapolitan tradition. Like the formal flag-raising ceremony and a pasta lunch at Circolo del Remo e della Vela Italia and the Reale Yacht Club Canottieri Savoia, creating a welcoming and festive atmosphere for all participants and guests since 1954.

"We are honored and proud to once again bring the Tre Golfi Sailing Week in the stunning setting of Sorrento, featuring two high-level events: the ORC Mediterranean Championship and the IMA Maxi European Championship" commented Roberto Mottola di Amato, Circolo del Remo e della Vela Italia President. "This event not only confirms the prestige and international significance of our regatta but also provides an extraordinary opportunity to celebrate a historic milestone: the 70th edition of the Tre Golfi Regatta. Seventy years of tradition, passion, and competition have made this regatta one of the most iconic events in the Mediterranean, and this year it will be even more special as it serves as a preparation for the ORC World Championship in 2026. Our goal remains to continue promoting the Gulf of Naples and the Sorrento Peninsula as a global reference point for sailing, offering not only competitive racing but also a warm and unforgettable welcome. I would like to thank all our partners, local institutions, and all the collaborators and volunteers whose invaluable support makes an event of this scale possible."
