The Andoo Team Australia Challenge campaign for 2024 UniCredit Youth and Puig Women's America's Cup has wrapped up, marking a memorable chapter in Australia's return to the most prestigious competition in world sailing. It is with deep gratitude, the organisers extend our thanks to each sponsor, partner, supplier and supporter who played a pivotal role in helping our talented Australian youth and women's teams reach Barcelona and proudly compete in an incredible and history making competition.

This journey would not have been possible without the support of naming rights partner Andoo and our major sponsors Myer, ExpenseMe and Ray White Commercial alongside our valued partners Musto, Bolle, News Corp and SailorGirl Sunset Media.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to each and every individual donor whose support made a remarkable difference to our campaign's success. Your generosity and vision have empowered young Australian sailors to compete on the international stage, providing both opportunity and inspiration for the next generation. Thank you for believing in and fostering the future of Australian sailing.

The support from personal individual donors to the campaign was a significant contribution to the success of the campaign. We thank them for their contribution and foresight to foster young Australian sailors in international sport and provide an inspiration to a new generation.

Additionally, to all our donors who supported our fundraising events and donations. It truly was the sum of the many contributions that ensured we had a campaign.

Thanks to you all, Andoo Team Australia shone on the world stage, displaying their skill, determination and the Australian sporting spirit. Special appreciation goes to our patrons John Bertrand AO and John Winning whose contributions made this campaign a reality alongside the families and friends who added crucial support to the campaign, the competition and the athletes' journeys.

Our teams led by Olivia Price and Cole Tapper, enjoyed enormous recognition and encouragement in Barcelona. The squad included Nina Curtis, Lisa Darmanin, Mile Davey, Jack Ferguson, Laura Harding, Sarah Hoffman, Tom Needham, Max Paul, George Richardson, Zoe Thompson and Annie Wilmot all representing Australia proudly.

A Legacy to Build On

The competition in Barcelona was exciting and hard fought as history was made, and our teams were met with a warm embrace from the America's Cup community.

Competing at this elite level allowed us to lay a strong foundation for future campaigns, and we are excited to share that we are in ongoing communication with Emirates Team New Zealand, the current Cup holders. With their support, we are exploring future opportunities to participate in AC40 class competitions, ensuring that Australia continues to have a place at the forefront of international sailing in the America's Cup competition.

What's Next for Team Australia

Being part of this incredible event has inspired our teams and created a pathway for Australia's promising young sailors and especially women athletes. We are committed to building on this momentum and are already laying the groundwork for future initiatives in line with America's Cup's vision. With your continued support, we look forward to fostering even more success in the AC40 class and beyond.

Thank you once again for being a vital part of our journey. Together, we've achieved something extraordinary, and the dream has been well and truly ignited.
