If you are looking for some inspiration, get a cup of something, and watch this the latest video from The Magenta Project.

This weekend six women, a record, are starting in the Vendee Globe, which is one of the few sailing events offering open racing between men and women. Although the Vendee has not been won by a woman, the last two round the world races have - the recently completed Ocean Globe Race was won by a crew skippered by Marie Tabarly (FRA), and the Golden Globe for single handed sailors was won by Kirsten Neuschäfer.

As these fierce and incredible women gear up to take on the world's toughest sailing events, The Magenta Project connects with Sam Davies, Pip Hare, and Mariana Lobato as they share their personal pathways to the top of the sport. Overcoming challenges and chasing big dreams, these women show that the path to progress in the sailing industry is more women in the lead.

Premiered on 5 November 2024 at the start of the 2024 Vendee Globe at an event co-hosted by IMOCA, The Magenta Project, and 11th Hour Racing.
