The 2024 season of the World Diam Tour France concluded in spectacular fashion with the sixth and final event, the Challenge An Avel Braz, held over the weekend of October 19-20.

The Andiamo crew shone brightly, seizing victory in this final stage amidst incredible conditions on Saturday, with five inshore races and a coastal raid across Quiberon Bay. Sunday saw competitors grounded due to a marine weather warning (BMS).

This event crowned a remarkable season, where competition grew tighter than ever, showcasing once again that the Diam24od is an outstanding, high-performance sportboat that continues to hone sailors' skills.

A head full of images and unforgettable memories

This season crowned the LODIGROUP crew from Saint-Malo, who demonstrated relentless consistency to secure the top spot on the podium for the 2024 World Diam Tour France. The Andiamo crew, always fast and well-positioned, claimed second place, while DOCART.ai, last year's dominant force under the Oblige.fr banner, took third this year.

All competitors agree that this season has been defined by an exceptionally high level of competition, with ever-narrowing margins between teams. In total, eight crews competed throughout the year, including the all-female team "Lady Muscinteam," who displayed remarkable competitive spirit and full commitment across the circuit.

Set course for 2025: A season already in the making!

The Diam24od class isn't slowing down, diving straight into preparations for the 2025 season. While the 2024 season review is ongoing, anticipation is already building for next year, with announcements of new events and fresh crews eager to join this thrilling competition. The 2025 season is set to be an emotional one, with exciting new challenges ahead!

The official 2025 World Diam Tour France calendar will be released by the end of the year, promising unmissable events for all sport sailing enthusiasts.

The Class welcomes you for 2025

We'll soon be announcing several dates for multi-crew training weekends out of Port-la-Forêt and Saint Philibert, with coaching provided.

These sessions will give new crews, alongside those already competing on the circuit, the chance to experience the value of a full season, start their preparation, and build their teams.

In one-design racing, it's the cohesion of a 4-6 person team that drives progress, builds consistency, and makes the difference.

The World Diam Tour Caribbean is already in full swing

For the most passionate competitors, the World Diam Tour Caribbean season is already under way! It's the perfect opportunity to sail under the Caribbean sun, with pre-season regattas in Saint Martin drawing sailors eager for exceptional conditions ahead of the European season. Each year sees growing participation, with over a dozen Diam24od boats (12 or 13) expected at the CMC and the Heineken Regatta.

Boats are still available for charter—get in touch with Private Yacht Charter for details.

An international event in 2026

Exciting news for the Diam24od series: the organization of the first International Championship for the class has been announced for 2026. This event will be a milestone in the class's history, bringing together the top European crews along with competitors from all over the world. It will be a must-attend event for fans of this spectacular boat!

And who knows—some stars from the Tour de France à la Voile years might just make a return, drawn by the powerful memories that still mark their current achievements.

A growing and structuring class

Finally The Diam24od class continues to grow and strengthen its organization. We're thrilled and proud to announce the appointment of Frédérique Pfeiffer, well-known in the multihull world and within the FFV, as measurer for the Diam24od Class. After her involvement in organizing the 2024 Olympics in Marseille, Frédérique has joined our project with enthusiasm and will bring her expertise and valuable experience in multihulls to the team.

A promising future for Diam24od

The Diam24od is more than ever a premier racing platform with a bright future ahead. Production of new boats is ongoing to meet demand, as secondhand boats are scarce, with many finding homes abroad. This positive momentum reaffirms the Diam24od's status among today's most popular and competitive classes.

We look forward to new adventures with you in 2025—and perhaps even welcoming you to the growing Diam24od fleet!
