Live coverage

Emirates Team New Zealand is poised on Match Point to Defend the America's Cup and win a fifth America's Cup for the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron.

INEOS Britannia has to win the next five races to have the trophy that became the America's Cup return to the Royal Yacht Squadron. However the British situation is that they need look no further than winning one race at a time, as there are no mulligans left in this regatta, and their America's Cup aspirations will have to go on hold until the 38th Match.

The forecast is for yesterday's random NW breeze to "die out to leave light and variable conditions for the early afternoon." Tomorrow, Sunday, it is the same song, second verse.

However this is Barcelona, and all that is required is a stable breeze for 45minutes and racing will take place.

Catch the amazing scenes, and positivity as the British team leave their Dock, along with a few words from their weather forecaster. Thye xpect to race today.

INEOS Britannia Dockwalk

A piece of great execution, or just luck for the Kiwis?

At today's media briefing, regatta director Iain Murray discussed the system used for starting and revealed that at the instant of yesterday's second race that Emirates Team New Zealand was just 1.4metres short of the line sailing at 33kts or 1/20th of a second away from being an early starter and being penalised - which probably would have handed the race to INEOS Britannia.

The incident underscored the vital role that the race management technology plays in racing, and its accuracy.

Current Forecast Race Day 32:

Forecast for Saturday 19 Oct - America's Cup Day 6

In the morning, the offshore wind from the North-West is still present. By mid-day the offshore wind will die out and it will leave light and variable conditions for the early afternoon. There is a possibility of a light Southerly building mid afternoon around 7 to 9 knots.

Sea state will be calm. The sky should clear up and the afternoon will be sunny with temperatures up to 21 degrees.
