An American debut for the Azimut Seadeck 6, the first model in the Series of hybrid family motor yachts.

At the 2024 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, Azimut will present a total of 20 yachts, representing all of its Series. This broad and diverse range of boats reflects the brand's commitment to meeting the needs of an international clientele at one of the world's most important nautical events.

Azimut, the Shipyard boasting the world's largest fleet, returns to the Fort Lauderdale boat show with an exhibition representing all its Series, designed to appeal to the diverse desires of the various owner profiles.

The Seadeck 6 will be shown publicly in America for the first time at FLIBS 2024, heralding the first hybrid Series of motor yachts for families developed by the Shipyard.

With external lines by Alberto Mancini and interiors designed by Matteo Thun & Antonio Rodriguez, the Seadeck Series integrates the most advanced technologies developed by Azimut, creating the most efficient yachts ever produced by the Shipyard. The first to be revealed is the Seadeck 6, capable of reducing CO2 emissions by up to 40% over an average year of use compared to a yacht of similar size with shaft-line propulsion and a traditional hull.

To reduce CO2 emissions, Azimut combines superstructure lightening through the extensive use of carbon fiber with a latest-generation high-efficiency hull, developed by the Azimut|Benetti Group R&D office in collaboration with NAMES. Furthermore, the Seadeck 6 introduces the Mild Hybrid Zero Emission Hotel Mode system, which allows both zero-emission anchoring and cruising with the generator off, further reducing onboard consumption.

Attention to materials is another key aspect in the design of the Seadeck 6. Wherever possible, Azimut replaces traditional materials with natural, recycled and recyclable alternatives: from the cork used in place of teak to Econyl, a fiber made of regenerated nylon from fishing nets, for the carpeting on the Lower Deck. The search for sustainable alternatives drives down to the heart of the yacht, where PET from recycled plastic replaces PVC in the bulkhead core.

With these innovations on board the Seadeck 6, Azimut has inaugurated a gentle era for a new relationship between man and nature. The Fun Island, conceived by Alberto Mancini, reinforces this lifestyle concept with a reinterpreted beach area: two laterally opening wings create an expansive terrace overlooking the sea, while a high-low platform leads effortless to the sea, taking you to down to water level, all made comfortable by a large sunbed where guests can spend their time. The Fun Island is a hymn to sociality on board with the connection between the people who live on the boat at its heart.
