The Dufour brand continues its efforts to complete its range and announces the arrival of the Dufour 48 sailboat. A luxury yacht of nearly 15 meters, designed to replace its smaller sibling: the Dufour 470. Creating an unforgettable sailing experience is the goal of this new model.

The Dufour Shipyard remains steadfast in its commitment to preserving its DNA: building boats where performance and comfort combine to offer an exceptional living environment and unparalleled pleasure at the helm. Instinctive sailing, a return to the ocean, a reconnection with oneself...

Because elegance is evident, the Dufour 48 yacht marks the brand's commitment to offering future owners a vessel designed for outdoor living and reconnection with the ocean. The highly innovative design by naval architect Umberto Felci of Felci Yachts Design is sure to captivate you. Beyond living comfort, the new features introduced by the Dufour 48 promise a sailing experience where the sensation under sail will transport you.

For the new Dufour 48 sailboat, the philosophy implemented for previous models has been maintained. The interior space has never been as bright as in this new model. The coachroof windows provide constant, diffused light along their entire length. Daylight will thus illuminate the entire saloon and galley. Additionally, when the forward cockpit seating is not installed, it reveals a large window that further brightens the interior of the boat.

Multiple cockpits

The Dufour 48 sailboat offers, like its predecessors, a spacious aft cockpit. Two cockpit tables are installed to ensure remarkable everyday comfort. But the model doesn't stop there, the major innovation introduced by the Dufour 48 is a second cockpit at the front.

For the occasion, dedicated upholstery combining comfort and design has been envisioned.

Modern design and lines

Radical changes have been made to transform the Dufour 48 sailboat. More modern lines have been designed for this new model. The yacht also features a new look in its windows.

The coachroof is adorned with large, elongated windows. To complete the look, a large number of opening portholes have been added.

Outdoor kitchen

As you may know, the most requested option at the Dufour Shipyard - apart from navigation equipment - remains the plancha grill installed on the aft platform.

This space has been redesigned to provide even more space for future owners. In addition to that, new equipment has been added to transform the plancha area into a true outdoor kitchen.

Outstanding interiors

More light
Already greatly favored in previous models of the Dufour 48 sailboat, light is once again the order of the day. The roof's full-length windows provide constant light for the interior saloon and galley.

When the sunbathing mattresses are removed from the forward cockpit, large windows are revealed, further enhancing the luminosity inside the yacht.

Optimised interior design
Depending on the version of the Dufour 48 you choose, all the interior features are optimized to guarantee unequalled living comfort. Whether you opt for the front or long galley, numerous storage compartments are provided.

Dedicated interior square tables have been designed by interior designer Ardizio Design. These are optimized for three- and four-cabin versions.

Comfortable owner cabin
In the cabins, blackout blinds are integrated directly into the ceiling. So, despite the brightness of the boat, you won't be disturbed by the sun's early morning rays.

You can also enjoy a queen-size island bed. In the cabin, an elevatormounted TV can be installed in a handsome stand.

Umberto Felci, Naval Architect

"In this larger model the key points underlined previously for the 44 remains always valid. Clearly as the size of the boat grows, new elements can be found to make it even more comfortable and liveable in terms of life style such as the possibility of integrating a large hard top rigid in the deck.

In the bow area there is the introduction of a new "forward cockpit" that will make the client discover a new private living area. From the design point of view we have developed differently and in line with the new automotive trends the shapes of many details, including new hull windows shape and all new model details, to make it even more decisive and elegant.

The performance are our flagship as always and certainly this time the boat will not betray expectations. The proportionally more elongated and penetrating hull will have a very good cruising speed and excellent sailing behaviour.

A version completely dedicated to electric motorization has also been studied, diversifying also the internal lay out. On this matter, however, you need to consult the technical office of Dufour Yachts as the true architect of these dedicated studies.

Three words to describe this new Dufour 48? Powerful, docile, elegant."
