Designed to enhance outdoor living, whether under way or at anchor, the Dufour 44 features a spacious cockpit that rivals those of larger yachts, offering a unique and immersive experience.

With the Dufour 44, the yard pushes the boundaries of innovation and nautical excellence even further.

Versatility is key

The Dufour 44 offers a wide array of configurations to suit all sailing styles. Available in three distinct versions—Easy, Ocean, and Performance—as well as 3 or 4-cabin layouts with two possible interior ambiances, this model provides unrivalled versatility.

Instinct, comfort, performance

The DUFOUR 44, the highly anticipated new model for 2024/2025, continues her international tour with the Annapolis Boat Show, the Barcelona Boat Show and the Boat Show in Puglia in October. This revolutionary sailing yacht epitomizes the perfect balance between instinctive sailing and unparalleled comfort, meeting the high standards demanded by Dufour owners. From seasoned sailors to adventure enthusiasts, the Dufour 44 promises an unforgettable experience with its exceptional performance.

Born from the collaboration between Felci Yachts Design, Luca Ardizio, and Dufour's in-house design team, the Dufour 44 boasts a sleek hull design and remarkable manoeuvrability at the helm, ensuring precision and responsiveness in every sail. The result is a yacht that will captivate future owners, their crews, and cruising aficionados alike.

A vision realised

The Dufour 44 embodies Dufour's bold vision for the future of sailing, combining excellence, an incomparable sailing experience and both exterior and interior innovations.

Romain Motteau, Dufour Deputy CEO:
"The Dufour 44 represents a remarkable step forward. Rather than being a simple upgrade, she features an entirely new design yet remains true to the distinctive Dufour DNA, drawing inspiration from the latest Dufour models.

This new Dufour is perfectly aligned with the current trend of widening hulls, particularly in the forward section, to maximize interior space. Despite this expansion, the boat retains a pleasant sailing character, emphasizing optimization for passage-making and comfort, whether under way or at anchor."

Romain Lucat, Director of the Dufour design office:
"The Dufour 44 represents an exciting challenge where the pursuit of volume and cohesion within the range combines with the innovative integration of solar panels, underscoring our commitment to sustainability. Our collaboration with architect Umberto Felci and interior designer Luca Ardizio ensures a balance between functionality, aesthetics, and performance.

By optimizing interior space, incorporating new technologies, and offering customization with four distinct versions, the Dufour 44 is an exceptional creation. It provides optimal outdoor living and remarkable sailing performance."

Luca Ardizio, Interior Designer:
"The approach we adopted is based on research and maximization to create a soft design, playing with curves and experimenting with materials. We opted for the abundant use of white to further accentuate the ultimate look of the boat. This is Dufour's DNA. We focused on creating a harmonious atmosphere by playing with light to enhance the space we were given. This meant making specific decor choices to enhance different areas of the boat. The color white was chosen to maximize light and create a luminous atmosphere."

Umberto Felci, Naval Architect:
"The objective was to create a spacious outdoor living area, resulting in a proportionally larger cockpit compared to her predecessor of the same size. Our focus was on integrating elements from the Dufour 470 and Dufour 530, emphasizing fluid communication in the cockpit, facilitating easy passage to the deck, and optimizing the overall length of the boat. We have taken successful elements from the Dufour 41 while introducing new features."

Even more space

On the deck, the sailboat Dufour 44 promises plenty of space of space. Everything was designed to facilitate travel and ensure security onboard. The port and starboard passages are wide, you do not risk hitting yourself. Everything has been designed to ensure a smooth transition from stern to the bow.

The bow received particular attention. The rooftop is the perfect place to relax and soak up the sun.

A yacht designed for outdoor living

A very spacious cockpit
Whether you're sailing, at anchor or going about your daily life, the cockpit offers an incredible amount of space. It has been designed to make getting around on deck as easy and safe as possible.

The cockpit table is adaptable, and seating is spacious and comfortable. Great moments await you, with family or friends.

An outdoor kitchen
The rear platform has been enlarged to give you even more space. As with all our yachts, a plancha is available as an option. The layout promises a fully equipped outdoor kitchen.

A cleverly designed bridge
The entire deck has been designed to make your daily life easier, and your cruising more pleasant and instinctive. Electric winches make sail trimming a breeze, whatever the weather conditions.

A sail locker is located forward for optimal storage of your gear. In addition to its practical dimensions, this locker keeps your sails in perfect condition without damaging them. A number of stowage compartments have also been incorporated for sheets and halyards when you're out at sea.

Two versions of the galley

Two versions are available for the interior saloon of the Dufour 44. A Front Galley version with the galley separated into two blocks placed forward of the saloon, or a Long Galley version with the galley placed to starboard.

The front galley version offers an exceptional place within the Dufour 44. This version, revisited by interior designer Luca Ardizio, retains the DNA of the Dufour brand. It provides, in addition to the interior saloon table, a large sofa in which you can rest and prepare for your next navigations. The lateral galley allows you to have a kitchen which extends in one block on the starboard side of the sailboat.

These two kitchen versions offer a wealth of equipment for preparing whatever you fancy. A host of ingenious storage units have been placed to help you organize this space.

An adaptable saloon

A hexagonal table
The layout of the saloon has been designed to offer maximum space and conviviality. Dufour is introducing a new feature, the hexagonal table, which gives a new design to the saloon and enables a large seating capacity of up to 10 people thanks to its removable seats.

Convertible seats
When there are fewer people on board, the seats can be moved to lie against the sofa, making a larger sofa in which to relax and enjoy the Dufour 44's bright interiors.

Comfortable and practical

It's a very important living space that Dufour wanted to make exceptionally functional. Everything is present to guarantee first-rate comfort in all circumstances. Numerous storage spaces are available to store all the equipment and ingredients needed for cooking. A coffee machine is also installed in one of the kitchen cupboards. The fridge is a good size and can store a large quantity of food.

The master cabin

The owner's cabin has been designed to offer a warm and bright space. Everything has been thought of to make life easier for the owners of Dufour 44. Plenty of storage space and exceptional space are available to you.

In the owner's cabin, there is not one, but two bathrooms. The first is a classic bathroom with a shower, a bench to sit on and storage cupboards. The second has a toilet which also has a shower. This way, couples can get ready at the same time without waiting for the other to finish washing.

Forward, the owner's cabin with its island bed and separate bathroom exceeds expectations for optimum comfort. This new 14-metre Dufour yacht has been designed with an emphasis on detail, atmosphere, and choice of materials. The result is a warm, light-filled atmosphere with plenty of space and storage. The Dufour 44 offers a total of 4 different layouts, with 3 or 4 cabins, with the galley either in a fore-and-aft arrangement or located forward.

The master cabin is no exception to the rule. It also offers a lot of space to move around and live inside this Dufour 44. It is bright and offers several practical storage spaces for storing all your daily belongings. The mattress lifts to reveal ample storage space.
