Yacht Racing Forum announces exceptional speakers for its 2024 edition

The Yacht Racing Forum is delighted to announce the participation of some fifty exceptional speakers for its 2024 edition, which will take place from 20 to 22 November in Amsterdam alongside the METSTRADE show.

Among them will be some of the most prominent players in the competitive sailing industry: athletes, event organisers, designers and developers of cutting-edge technologies.

Three Keynote Speakers will open each day of the conference, representing respectively the sport's most committed athletes, the sports' governing body and the nautical industry, and will share their expertise and vision of the future of the sport.

Marit Bouwmeester - Wednesday 20 November, 1.30pm

Double Olympic champion and four-time Olympic medallist, multiple world champion and sailing icon Marit Bouwmeester will open the Yacht Racing Forum with an inspiring keynote on her exceptional career. Her experience and perseverance have propelled her to the pinnacle of international sailing, and she will offer unique insights into performance, leadership and the evolution of the sport as she has observed it.

David Graham - Thursday 21 November, 13:45

David Graham, CEO of World Sailing, will give a presentation on the present and future of the sport. As head of the sport's governing body, Graham will discuss the challenges and opportunities facing the international sailing community, as well as initiatives to make the sport more accessible and sustainable.

Gianguido Girotti - Friday 22 November, 9.00am

CEO of the Beneteau Group, Gianguido Girotti will share his expertise on the marine industry. As the world's leading sailboat builder, Girotti will explain how new technologies and eco-responsible strategies are redefining the future of boatbuilding and racing.

These high-level speakers, along with all the Yacht Racing Forum speakers, promise to make this edition of the Yacht Racing Forum a must-attend event for sailing and maritime industry professionals.
