Racing got underway this morning at 1100hrs CET in the Puig Women's America's Cup

Four races were sailed with Sweden dominating.

Due to damage to one of the AC40s this morning, Group A of Puig Women’s America’s Cup qualifiers racing is postponed to Thursday so all six teams will have a race ready AC40 on Thursday.

Teams share AC40s and consequently GBR - who share the Canadian AC40, now damaged and needing an overnight repair - would not be able to race this afternoon. In the interests of fairness to all competitors, this afternoon's racing was cancelled.

On Sunday morning an advisory from race management indicated that there would be no racing on Wednesday due to a forecast of strong winds. This has not been lifted.

There is not a lot of agreement between the wind models, at this stage, for the weekend when the America's Cup gets underway. However this situation should be resolved as the week unfolds.
