The Yacht Sales Co Sail Paradise Regatta 2024 - Day 2

Day Two has presented perfect sailing conditions for all divisions and competitors of the The Yacht Sales Co Sail Paradise 2024 Regatta on Australia's Gold Coast.

Sporting 30 degree temperatures with a northwesterly 15 knots of breeze, the 40 strong fleet turned up the heat on the Race 'around the cans' racetrack off Narrowneck, before Race 5 sent IRC Division hugging the beaches from the Q1 tower down to Snapper Rocks just off Point Danger and Coolangatta.

Yesterday's Race 3 saw close competition between the IRC Queensland Yachting Championship contenders, with the current standings at the end of Day One as follows:

Competition became a little too close for some, with GCCM 'Arctic Blonde' suffering some major damage from a collision with Stratacare Racing 'Flyaway', rendering them out of the rest of the regatta.
