Avikus Neuboat Dock now seamlessly integrates with BRNKL Security and Monitoring System

by Avikus 2 Oct 2024 20:22 AEST

Avikus, a leading innovator in autonomous navigation technology, announced today its partnership with Barnacle Systems to integrate its camera system with Barnacle's security and monitoring solution, BRNKL Blue. This integration allows the BRNKL Blue system to use Avikus's NeuBoat Dock 360-degree surround-view cameras to broadcast and record live video, whether for security purposes or for capturing fun adventures on the water.

The Avikus NeuBoat Dock consists of a six-camera system based on Avikus' advanced autonomous vessel technology. The system provides a 360-degree bird's-eye view of a vessel through the boat's multi-function display, which is designed to assist with tight-quarters maneuvering and docking.

BRNKL Blue was awarded the National Marine Electronics Association (NMEA) 2024 Best New Product award and is a security and monitoring system for boats. Owners can use the boat's onboard communication technology to connect with their boat through the intuitive BRNKL app to monitor the condition of their vessel. In addition to security, users can record video with their "Fish On!" feature or capture any special cruising moment and play them back at a later time.

"We're very excited about this new partnership," said Dohyeong Lim, CEO of Avikus. "The BRNKL Blue system provides exceptional peace of mind, letting users keep an eye on their boat, even when not on board. Adding our innovative 360-degree cameras to the system gives unparallelled situational awareness for an even better understanding of what condition their vessel is in."

"The Avikus system adds unique functionality that we hadn't seen before," said Brandon Wright, CEO of BRNKL. "Whether you're using BRNKL to capture fun memories with family and friends or using it to protect your investment, the Avikus system gives an incredible extension with their 360-degree cameras. We are confident our customers will love the combination of BRNKL Blue and NeuBoat Dock."
