Sport Impact Summit is delighted to announce purpose-driven sailing championship, SailGP, as its newest Impact Partner.

SailGP is a global racing championship in which 11 rival nations race head-to-head, piloting cutting-edge F50 catamarans at iconic venues across the world in a bid to be crowned SailGP Champions.

Alongside providing a thrilling spectacle for sporting fans, SailGP's mission is to be the world's most sustainable and purpose-driven sports and entertainment platform - a mission that aligns perfectly with Sport Impact Summit.

Sport Impact Summit is a new, pioneering event series that seeks to bring together elite athletes, sports teams, scientists, and business leaders, all focused on a single goal: creating a more sustainable and healthier world for the future.

Supported by its team of Impact Champions and Partners, Sport Impact Summit aims to engage a billion people in addressing some of the most urgent global challenges.

Sean Morris, former first-class cricketer and Sport Impact Summit Co-Founder, said, "This partnership with SailGP marks a significant step towards harnessing the power of sport to drive positive change. By aligning with an organisation that shares our vision of sustainability and social responsibility, we are not only enhancing the reach of our initiatives but also inspiring a new generation of athletes and fans to take action."

The summit, which will take place on 4th and 5th December 2024, promises to be a landmark event, featuring keynotes from industry leaders, panel discussions and interactive workshops that will pave the way for actionable change in the sporting world. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and organisations dedicated to making a difference.

Fiona Morgan, Chief Purpose Officer at SailGP, said, "We are thrilled to partner with Sport Impact Summit in our mission to lead the way in sustainability within sports. This collaboration allows us to amplify our commitment to making a meaningful impact on the environment. By bringing together athletes, experts, and industry leaders, we can create powerful programmes that engage our fans and encourage them to participate in this vital conversation.

Last month, SailGP star Hannah Mills, one of the strategists for the Emirates Great Britain team, was announced as Sport Impact Summit's first Impact Champion.

As we head towards December, Sport Impact Summit will continue to assemble a team of Impact Champions and Impact Partners who will help to inspire real change. Join this exciting journey towards a more sustainable future, where sport serves as a powerful catalyst for change by purchasing a ticket.
