The three Semi-Finalists from Group A of the Youth America's Cup have been decided after racing in fresh conditions off Barcelona.

Italy, USA and Great Britain will contest the Semi-Final along with the top three from Group B.

Racing was also conducted in the B Fleet for teams not affiliated to America's Cup teams.

The top three teams from the A and B groups will come together for the Series Semi-Final

There was a better forecast for Monday in the UniCredit Youth America's Cup.

Winds of 8-12 kts were expected to settle in from the South, however there was a substantial (0.8mtr) off-axis sea state to test the competitors. The breeze came up stronger than forecast blowing 18kts - and testing the crews, with some spectacular foiling.

Both the A and B fleets raced today, in an endeavour to catch up the racing lost since the start of the series due to inclement weather, or failure to pass the 7.5kt minimum wind limit.
