The Newport International Boat Show proudly announces that its 53rd edition, held from September 12-15, 2024, at the Newport Yachting Center, has been hailed as one of the most successful events in its history.

This year's show not only surpassed attendance expectations but also featured the largest volume of in-water boats ever showcased at the event. Perfect weather graced all four days, creating an ideal backdrop for the 450 exhibitors who enjoyed packed exhibits and steady foot traffic. The show grounds expanded to the north and south, and the newly introduced brokerage basin received enthusiastic praise from attendees.

The debut of the Windward VIP Lounge was another highlight, offering guests an elevated experience with a premium open bar and gourmet dining throughout the day. The Tech Talk education sessions were sold out, and many guests took advantage of the complimentary Cruiser's Classroom presentations. The Newport for New Products awards program featured over 45 entries, celebrating eight winners and two honorable mentions. Attendees also enjoyed over 50 sponsor activations, from tastings to displays and giveaways.

"We could not have asked for better conditions for this year's show," said Lisa Knowles, Show Director of Newport International Boat Show. "Show-goers, exhibitors and sponsors all had a fantastic experience and from all indications, boat sales went very well. We are already planning and are excited for what's to come for the Newport International Boat Show!"

"BankNewport and OceanPoint Marine Lending are proud to conclude our third year as presenting sponsors of the Newport International Boat Show," said Jack Murphy, President and CEO of BankNewport. "This event was a huge success, and we look forward to continuing our commitment to this show and the community for another three years. On behalf of all sponsors and exhibitors, we wish to acknowledge the hard work of everyone involved and the enjoyment of all attendees at the boat show. We look forward to a bright future for the Show in the coming years."

"After the rousing success of this year's Show, I couldn't be more excited to welcome the Newport International Boat Show to our prestigious ranks of the world's most extensive family of boat shows," said Andrew Doole, President U.S. Boat Shows, Informa Markets. "From the outset the Newport team and community welcomed us and together we are dedicated to pioneering new experiences. We will continue to invest in the Newport International Boat Show to broaden the Show's scope, enrich its offerings and solidify its status as the premier boating event in the Northeast."

As one of the most coveted in-water events in the country, the Newport International Boat Show spans over 15 acres of Newport's renowned waterfront. It features hundreds of exhibitors, dealers, and manufacturers, showcasing a dazzling array of powerboats and sailboats ranging from 15 to 90 feet, alongside a comprehensive selection of marine equipment, services, and accessories for boating aficionados.

The 54th Newport International Boat Show is scheduled for September 11-14, 2025. For more information, visit newportboatshow.com.
