As in the past, the fourth European Championship of the BENETEAU First 27 SE & Seascape27 class will be held as part of the "SILVERRUDDER" single-handed regatta in Denmark.

The starting signal will be given on Friday, 20 September, at 10:30 within the Silverrudder "Keelboat Small" division.

The race course is a non-stop circumnavigation around the island of Funen, Denmark. All together, over 400 boats are expected to arrive in Svendborg this year, continuing the event's growth trend. The race has become the largest single-handed sailing regatta in the world. The weather for the upcoming event in Svendborg is expected to contribute with sunny conditions and moderate winds.

Last year's winners and favorites will also compete again. Defending champion Milan Tomek from the Czech Republic will try to retain his title. Per Cederberg from Denmark and Peder Edman from Sweden will once again fight for the title "Ironman of the Sea."
