Universal Yachting presents UK Premiere of the all-new Dufour 44 at the Southampton Boat Show

by Kim Darbyshire 6 Sep 2024 02:49 PDT 13-22 September 2024

Universal Yachting is thrilled to announce the UK debut of the Dufour 44 at the Southampton Boat Show. This new model, which builds upon the success of the Dufour 41, sets a new standard in modern yacht design. Whether you're planning day trips or long-term cruising, the Dufour 44 promises an exceptional sailing experience.

On the water, you will find a yacht that offers precise and easy handling while maintaining all the performance you expect from Dufour. The extended hull chine offers smoother sailing and increased stability. A considerable change with the latest hull designs is the additional volume achieved, which is immediately noticed as soon as you go below decks.

Below deck, the Dufour 44 features spacious cabins. The master cabin forward is unmatched on a boat of this size. It provides ample space and comfort, along with separate heads and a shower room. Available in four versions, each customisable layout offers supreme comfort.

A new exterior feature on the 44 is double access into the cockpit from the bathing platform. As you step on board from the transom, you will appreciate the amount of cockpit space offered. The lowered bathing platform extends the functional space even further, creating the perfect spot for cooking and preparing food.

"With the Dufour 44, you can expect a perfect balance of luxury, performance, and innovation," said Chris Warwick of Universal Yachting. "We're proud to introduce this model to the UK market and believe it will redefine what sailors expect from a cruising yacht."

Alongside the Dufour 44, Universal Yachting, as the UK distributor for Dufour, invites you to explore the following models also on show and available for private viewings:

  • Dufour 37 - Stand M539
  • Dufour 41 - Stand M541
  • Dufour 44 (UK Debut) - Stand M543
We recommend booking your appointment to ensure ample time to explore these exceptional yachts. Each viewing is allocated a 30-minute slot, during which a broker will be available to answer any questions and guide you through the yacht's features. However, if you visit us on the day the yacht is available, we welcome you to step aboard immediately or book for the next available slot. For more information, please get in touch with Chris Warwick at .
