James Carew (AUS) makes a stunning comeback to win the GKA Kite-Surf World Cup Sylt 2024 in the men's competition. Carew opens the final with a massive trick that sets the tone, with his first three scores each over seven points.

Gabriel Benetton (BRA) responds with a huge triple front roll, earning a 9.18 and keeping the heat extremely close. In a very close competition, Carew comes out on top with a score of 21.20 to 20.35, securing an especially emotional victory. In the small final for third place, Lorenzo Casati (ESP) prevails despite challenging conditions, claiming the last spot on the podium.

In the women's competition, Capucine Delannoy (FRA) puts on a stunning performance to take the win, landing a Front Roll Shove-it Three, the first ever in women's competition, for a perfect ten-point score. Camille Losserand (SUI) can't match Delannoy's momentum, despite her impressive double back roll board-off, she has to settle for second place. Battling for third place, Clémence Derrien (FRA) and Kesiane Rodrigues (BRA) go head-to-head. Rodrigues executes her tricks flawlessly, scoring high with a Tic-Tac Flip and Rodeo, which secures her third the place.
