Murray cod and Mary River cod closure in place

Just a reminder that Murray cod and Mary River cod closed season began on 1 August and runs until the end of October.

You shouldn't target Murray cod during the closed season — please immediately return any that are accidentally caught to the water.

Exceptions apply to some stocked impoundments.

Additional restrictions on the use of fishing lines also apply to certain waterways to protect Mary River cod during their breeding season.
