Get ready to embark on an extraordinary journey with the Ocean Sustainability Conference & Clean Campaign, spearheaded by Australia's leading environmental champions, Ocean Crusaders.

This groundbreaking initiative is set to make waves, running hand-in-hand with Australia's most prestigious ocean races and through top yacht clubs across the nation.

What's the scoop?

These dynamic conferences are designed to unite government officials, corporate leaders, and community advocates in a spirited dialogue about shaping a sustainable future for our oceans. It's more than just talk; it's a golden opportunity to network with pioneers, discover innovative practices, and see how you can weave sustainability into your own endeavors.

Words from the visionary

Ian Thomson, the inspiring founder of Ocean Crusaders, shares his vision: "We've been on a mission, removing hundreds of tonnes of ocean debris each year. But our goal is to ensure that our efforts leave a positive legacy. Sustainability means preserving our future resources and enhancing our environment as we navigate forward."

Reflecting on his experiences at the 2015 Ocean Summit in Gothenburg, Ian emphasizes, "It's crucial to highlight the positive strides in sustainability. Many organizations are doing incredible work, but there's always room for more. These conferences are your chance to connect, learn, and be part of a transformative movement."

What's in store?

Each conference will culminate in a high-impact Ocean Crusaders cleanup day—not your typical cleanup, but a powerful statement of change. Our cleanups are strategically planned to maximize impact, with an average haul of 1 tonne of debris. Expect each event to be a meaningful contribution to ocean health.
