As pioneers in electric yacht technology, Optima Yachts is excited to announce its debut at the Southampton Boat Show, where they will showcase the cutting-edge e10 prototype.

Marking a new era in exceptional electric boating, the e10 features an ultra-efficient, low-resistance hull form that ensures all-day cruising in comfort and near silence under battery power. With an impressive range of 150 nautical miles, the e10 is designed for those who seek luxury and design, without compromising sustainability.

In addition to the e10, Optima Yachts is proud to announce the opening of build slots for the new Optima e14, scheduled for 2025/26. This 14m yacht represents a significant leap in green technology, blending innovation, luxury and sustainability.

The e14's design addresses the needs of modern boaters, delivering a 150-nautical-mile range to alleviate range anxiety and powered by an advanced electric drive system, it provides a quiet and efficient cruising experience.

Developed for both comfort, fun and social gatherings, the e14 features modern cooking facilities, including induction hobs and electric ovens or microwaves, alongside a spacious dining area that comfortably seats up to 10 guests. Large fridges, freezers, and ice-makers, all powered by the yacht's electrical system, ensure convenience, while safety is a top priority, with electric-only systems eliminating the need for gas or flammable fuels, greatly enhancing onboard security.

The yacht's construction showcases a commitment to sustainability, using lightweight FRP structures, natural reinforcements like flax fibres and bio-resins, and recycled materials. Selective use of advanced composites such as carbon fibre balances performance with environmental responsibility.

Sustainability extends to the energy solutions with integrated solar panels for renewable energy coupled with charging from existing marina infrastructure or the growing network of fast DC-chargers. The e14 allows for extended, eco-friendly cruising, making it an ideal choice for those who seek a luxurious yet responsible yachting experience.

Following their debut at the Southampton Boat Show, Optima Yachts will continue the journey to the Monaco Yacht Show, exhibiting as part of the British Marine Superyacht UK stand, introducing its innovative electric range to a global audience for the first time. This marks an exciting opportunity for the brand to showcase its commitment to luxurious and sustainable boating on an international stage.

We invite you to explore the future of yachting with Optima Yachts at Berth M322 in Southampton. Meet the team behind the tech, step onboard the revolutionary e10, and learn more firsthand about the exciting new e14 Don't miss this unique opportunity to experience electric boating at its finest.
